TO A. S. ENUKKIDZE AND L. B. KAMENEV

Comrades Enukkidze and Kamenev, I request that you render assistance in the purchase and procurement of bread for the village of Alakaevka in Samara Province, [to be provided] to its representative, the peasant Sergei Frolov*, as well as in supplying the village with seeds for spring sowing. Since I was personally acquainted with this village, I would consider it politically useful that the peasants not depart without some assistance in any case.

* In the source, apparently a misprint: it was Kuzma Frolov, son of Sergei, who came to Moscow. — Ed.
