Received the Breslau report 9. We pasted it with unspeakable effort, and most of it was torn (the letter, thanks to good paper, remained intact). Evidently, you have not yet received the second letter. It is necessary to use a very thin paste: no more than a teaspoon of starch (and potato, not wheat, which is too strong) per glass of water. Only for the top sheet and colored paper is ordinary (good) paste needed, and the paper holds well under pressure even with the thinnest paste. In any case, the method is suitable and should be practiced.

I am sending you the end of Thornton. We have material on the strike 1) from Thornton, 2) from Laferme, 3) on the Ivanovo-Voznesensk strike, 4) on the Yaroslavl strike (a worker's letter, very interesting), and on the St. Petersburg factory for mechanical shoe production 10. I am not sending it because there has been no time for transcription and because I do not expect to make it in time for the first issue of the collection. - We have established contacts with the Narodnaya Volya printing house 11, which has already published 3 items (not ours) and is taking one of ours*.

We plan to publish

* Send us, if you have, material for workers' pamphlets. They will print them with pleasure.

a newspaper 12, where this material will go. This will be finally clarified in about 1½-2 months. If you think the material will be ready for the first issue, let me know immediately.
