TELEGRAM TO I. V. STALIN**
August 11, 1920
I have just received a dispatch from the chairman of the Soviet delegation
in London. England has panicked over the general strike, and Lloyd-
George has stated that he advises Poland to accept our terms
of truce, including both disarmament and the transfer of weapons
to the workers, and land, and so on. Our victory is great and will be
the most complete if we finish off Wrangel. Here we are taking
all measures. Lean on them too, so that they take the whole Crimea with this
current blow at all costs. Everything now depends on this.
The Poles are dragging their feet and have not arrived on time. This is extremely advantageous for us.
