10. XI.

Dear Comrade Huysmans!

I am very grateful to you for your message 128. We will try to take measures to appoint delegates to the Basel Congress.

The representative of our party in the commission for editing the draft resolution
will be named as soon as possible.

With fraternal greetings. N. Lenin
P. S. I am obliged to present a report to the Central Committee of our party on the last meeting of the Bureau. For
the preparation of the report, I need some information. I know well that you are very
busy, dear comrade, and I ask for your consent to an audience of 5-10 minutes for
Comrade Popov, who will come to see you. The French and German newspapers ("Le Peuple",
Wiener "Arbeiter-Zeitung", "Bremer Burger-Zeitung", "Leipziger Volkszeitung" and
"Vorwarts") have published very contradictory information about the last meeting of
the International Socialist Bureau 129.

P. P. S. Only today did I receive news about the election of deputies to the IV Duma in the Moscow Governorate. Now I can tell you that all the deputies from the workers'
curia (Arbeiterkurie) are social-democrats! 12 social-democrats have already
been elected despite the completely unheard-of falsification of the elections.

With fraternal greetings.

N. Lenin
