7/VI. 1913.

Dear comrade! I have received and read the translation of Berzin's entire article.

The article is good. The only bad part is the one that caused me great indignation. But I immediately asked you to send me the whole article, thus showing that I consider it necessary to acquaint myself with the whole. While I was harshly criticizing Berzin for a part of his article, I asked you

L. B. KAMENEV. JUNE 8, 1913

to send me the entire article. From this, it follows that you were hasty in forwarding my angry note about a part of his article to Berzin.

Berzin wrote me a letter in which he says that I am probably poorly informed. (Of course, one cannot be well-informed about the entire article based on just one part!) From the whole of Berzin's article, I am convinced that he cannot be put alongside Braun. I repeat, Berzin's article is a good article; based on it, one has to think that our disagreement with him (about the evaluation of the Stockholm resolution, etc.) is of a rather private nature. It is hardly worth starting to discuss this disagreement in print right away. It seems that Berzin is coming and will come to us.

If you have already sent a response (for publication) to Berzin, I advise you to hold it back and send it to me: we will consult.

Write soon about what you have done with my draft of the platform.

Yours, Lenin
