2. XI.

Dear G.V.! We have received your letter. Your article, as we expect, will go into No. 10 of "Iskra." The ninth issue will come out in a few days: it was delayed due to expanding to 8 pages.

Have you received Nos. 1 and 3 of "Neue Zeit" (please return them after use)? I sent them to you because they contain articles by Engels and Kautsky on the program, which might be useful to you. When do you expect to finish the program?

You write nothing about the review of Marx's collected works 144. We understand that you will still send it—it is absolutely necessary for No. 2-3 of "Zarya." On November 4, Volume IV will come out: Lassalle's letters to Marx, but it is no longer worth writing a review to avoid delaying the release.

I am finishing the internal review*. Alexei wrote about Lübeck. There are reviews: yours on Frank, three by Alexei + yours on Marx's collected works + possibly Velika Dmitrievna's on "Svoboda." This is enough.

Also** No. 2-3 of "Zarya" is ready, and it only depends on printing, which could be finished by mid-November.

Warmly shaking your hand. Yours...

P.S. I am asking so persistently about the program because we need to know if there will be material for No. 4 immediately after the release of No. 2-3 of "Zarya," so we can give it to the typesetters. Dietz is pressing me about this.

If Riazanov's article has not yet been sent, please send it immediately, or he will completely devour Alexei. Riazanov (and Parvus along with him and on his behalf) is mortally offended by the postponement of the article and seems to want to withdraw. "You don't know how to be editors!" Parvus said to us.

What do you think?
