Personal letter to comrade Kotlyarenko.

1. 8. 10.

I. Dear comrade! Be so kind as to order the following books for the editorial office:

1) Report of the People's Freedom faction for the 3rd session of the State Duma. (Pravo bookshop. St. Petersburg. or V. A. Kharlamov, 7 Potemkinskaya. St. Petersburg., contact them.) Price 50 kopecks.

2) In Memory of N. G. Chernyshevsky. Lectures and speeches by Annensky, Antonovich, Tugan-Baranovsky and others. Price 50 kopecks. (Public Welfare, St. Petersburg., Nevsky, 40, apt. 43.)

II. Further. Regarding the report you acted very carelessly by not sending it by registered mail. I gave the postal service here Rappoport's address. But that is insufficient. Send immediately a notice to the Administration des postes in Pornic, asking, as the sender, that they forward the package to Rappoport, and enclose a postcard with the return address for your reply.

III. Regarding "Public Movement" — they say Britman brought it and deposited it at the expedition for me. If not, I will ask Gregory, and you should ask him too when the occasion arises.

IV. Regarding guests at the congress in Copenhagen I cannot say anything.250 Ordinarily, it seems, they used to allow [access] to the galleries freely. Take one sheet from my parcel to ZBCK (a package follows herewith) — there is

a printed sheet with the address of the chairman of the local organizing committee251: that is what you should ask for if you want to know in advance precisely.

V. I enclose a letter for ZBCK.252 I ask that you forward it as soon as possible.

VI. And how is the matter with the report? I most earnestly ask you to hurry along the publication.

I shake your hand. Your N. Lenin
