Dear A. M.!

We will send you the resolutions of the 60th conference soon. Finally, it has been possible - in spite of the liquidationist scum - to revive the party and its Central Committee. I hope you will rejoice in this with us.

Wouldn't you write a May leaflet? Or a leaflet in the same May spirit? A short, "inspirational" one, eh? Shake off the old times - remember 1905 - and jot down a few words if you feel like writing. In Russia, there are 2-3 illegal printing presses, and the Central Committee will probably reprint it in tens of thousands. It would be good to have a revolutionary proclamation in the style of the "Tales" of "Zvezda" 61. I am very, very glad that you are helping "Zvezda." It is extremely difficult for us with it - internal, external, and financial difficulties are enormous - but we are still managing for now.

Shake hands. Lenin
P. S. And "Sovremennik" finally had the sense to die! This is a good deed on its part.
