1Interview with the correspondent of the English newspapers "Observer" and "Manchester Guardian" M.S.Farbman V.I.Lenin gave on October 27, 1922. Lenin's duty secretary N.S.Alliluyeva reported: "It was decided to publish Vladimir Ilyich's interview with Farbman with Radek's consent..... Radek replied that it should be published in tomorrow's issue in both Pravda and Izvestia" (Lenin's Collection XXXIX, p. 438). On November 10, the interview was published in both newspapers" (see: Lenin V.I. Complete Collected Works, vol. 45, pp. 237-244).

2Lenin's interview with correspondent A. Ransom was first published in the USSR in Pravda No. 17, January 21, 1926.
