т. Zinoviev!

I read yesterday that you are calling me and Trotsky.

I am very much afraid that I shall not be able to do so; I shall not be able to take an abstract at the Congress of the Communist International1.

Yesterday both doctors made the same conclusion2.

Hi!

Lenin.

1Lenin's fears were not justified. He spoke at the Fourth Congress of the Communist International on November 13, 1922 with the report "Five Years of the Russian Revolution and the Prospects of World Revolution" (see: Lenin V.I. Complete Collected Works, vol. 45, pp. 278-294).

2Doctors V.V.Kramer and A.M.Kozhevnikov on October 15, 1922 prescribed to V.I.Lenin to have a day of rest on Wednesday in addition to Saturday and Sunday (see: Questions of the History of the CPSU, 1991, 9, p. 41).
