Note by G.E.Zinoviev

October 8, 1922.

Vladimir Ilich, if time permits you, would you be able to write for the forthcoming issue of the "Communist International "1 at least a small article about the 5th anniversary2*? Perhaps in the form of theses for your future report?

It would be extremely necessary.

If there is little hope at all, tell me to call you.

Greetings from the mountain

Your G. Zinoviev.

Note by V.I.Lenin т. Zinoviev!

I can't do it. A cursed tooth has delayed the matter; my nerves are still bad. 9/Х.

Your Lenin.
