Lenin

1 On August 17, 1922, Deputy People's Commissar of Finance M. K. Vladimirov was received by V. I. Lenin. A conversation lasting half an hour took place about the work of the People's Commissariat of Finance and its policy toward NEP men. On August 19 Lenin conversed with I. T. Smilga, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Economic Council.

On August 21, for half an hour Lenin conversed with L. B. Krasin, People's Commissar of Foreign Trade, before his trip to Berlin for negotiations with English industrialist L. Urquhardt concerning the granting of him a concession.

On August 22 Lenin received A. I. Enukidze, Deputy Chairman of the All-Union Central Executive Committee and the Council of Labor and Defense, with whom he spoke for half an hour.
