Tovarisch Stalin!

The doctors are apparently creating a legend which cannot be left without refutation. They were bewildered by a violent seizure on Friday1* and did something extremely stupid: they tried to forbid "political" visits (they themselves badly understood what this meant!!). I got extremely angry and blew them off. On Thursday2* I had Kamenev with me. A lively political conversation. Wonderful sleep, marvelous feeling. On Friday, paralysis. I demand you urgently, in order to have time to say, in case of aggravation of the disease. I manage to say everything in 15 minut and on Sunday3* again a wonderful sleep. Only fools can blame it on political talk. If I am ever worried, it is because of the lack of timely and political talk. I hope you will realize this and dismiss the fool of the German professor and K°. About the plenum of the Central Committee, please come to tell me about it or send me one of the participants.

With communist [communist] farewell Lenin.
