Fund 16, op. 3, d. 20 - copy, autograph of M.I.Ulyanova.

1Lenin's manuscript has not survived. The record is given in the memoirs of M.I.Ulyanova "About Vladimir Ilyich (The Last Years of Life)" (see: RCCHIDNI, f. 16, op. 3, d. 20).

M.I.Ulyanova recalls: "Before deciding the question of the place of rest, Vladimir Ilyich comprehensively clarified from Getye the question and the conditions necessary for Nadezhda Konstantinovna for the state of her health (basadov's disease)" (Izvestiya CPSU Central Committee. 1991, № 2, p. 133). After that, Lenin sent a letter to G.K.Ordzhonikidze on April 17, 1922, outlining the recommendations of F.A.Getye (see: Lenin V.I. Complete Collected Works, vol. 54, pp. 241-242).

Soon the trip to the Caucasus was postponed to the end of May, and then dropped; on April 23, Lenin asked I.S. Unshlikht to look for a resting place in the Urals (see: V.I. Lenin and the All-Union Cheka Committee. 2nd ed. M., 1987, p. 536).
