To Comrade Molotov.

I ask you to pass the following resolution through the Politburo:

To oblige Tovarisch Kamenev and Stalin to perform the work of the Politburo for four sittings a week, beginning on Monday and ending on Thursday, and to leave on Thursday evening until Monday morning.

To entrust t. Gershon (secretary to t. Dzerzhinsky) to arrange for a resting place either in the room where t. Lenin before his present resting place2 (Stalin was also there once), or the place where T. Trotsky was resting, if he has already had his rest. Trotsky, if he had already finished his rest.

I ask you, Mr. Molotov, to agree on this proposal with Mr. Zinoviev beforehand. Zinoviev, as well as with Mr. Kalinin, if he is now in a hungry state. Kalinin, if he is now voting in the Politburo, and carry it out immediately. For I am quite sure that if such measures are not taken immediately, we shall not preserve the efficiency of Comrades Stalin and Kamenev for the Party Congress.

I am waiting for a reply by telephonogram to Glasser or Lepeshinskaya or Fotieva.

March 7, 1922 N.S.Lepeshinskaya recorded the following telephonogram Molotov: "The proposal of Mr. Lenin on granting until the Party Congress weekly three-day vacation to Comrade Stalin and Kamenev - accepted.
