NOTES TO I. V. STALIN AND L. B. KAMENEV WITH PROPOSALS FOR THE POLITBURO OF THE CENTRAL COMMITTEE OF THE RCP(b)
To Comrades Stalin and Kamenev
I request that you jot down the following on this very note:

1. Do you agree with Chicherin regarding the immediate payment of the sum promised to the Turks? 180

2. I have reviewed Chicherin’s proposal concerning the presidium of the Genoa delegation. I firmly reject it and reiterate my earlier proposal. 181
On this same note, I ask you to briefly record your views on both points for transmission through the secretary.

To Comrades Stalin and Kamenev
Today, I read in the newspapers Italy’s announcement of a postponement of the Genoa Conference.
With particular vigor, I reaffirm the proposal I submitted yesterday: to instruct Chicherin to dispatch, as soon as possible, an archivally detailed note proposing that a precise deadline be set for March 15*. Before sending the draft note, it should be circulated among the members of the Politburo.
I await your response via the secretary.
