1In late 1921, Lenin's health deteriorated. By decision of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the RCP(b) December 31, 1921 he was granted a 6-week vacation from January 1, 1922. Without permission of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the RCP(b) he was forbidden to come to Moscow, allowed only one hour a day to negotiate by telephone on the most important issues (see: RCCHIDNI, f. 17, op. 3, d. 247, l. 1). When his health deteriorated, Lenin's sleep was disturbed. In response to the questionnaire of the Brain Institute N.K.Krupskaya wrote: "Suffered terrible insomnia. His mornings were always bad, he fell asleep late and slept badly" (Krupskaya N.K. Memories of Lenin. Moscow, 1989, p. 469).
