This year, Right-Bank Ukraine has reaped an exceptional harvest. The workers and peasants of the famine-stricken Volga region—now enduring a calamity only slightly less dire than the horrific famine of 1891—are looking to Ukrainian farmers for aid. The assistance must be swift; it must be abundant. Let not a single farmer remain who does not share his surplus with the starving peasants of the Volga, who have nothing left to sow their fields.
From every district blessed with grain, let at least two or three peasant delegates be sent to the Volga—to carry grain there, to witness firsthand the scale of the disaster, the depths of need and hunger, and upon their return, to inform their fellow countrymen of the urgent necessity for relief.
