LETTER TO D. I. KURSKY

November 19, 1921

Comrade Kursky!

Krasin is very much afraid that the work of Groman's commission (the extent of our losses from intervention)* has been bungled by Goikhbarg. Goikhbarg apparently is ill.

It is therefore necessary to check **carefully**:

1) have these materials been fully well preserved?
2) what is their sum total?
3) who is responsible for their integrity and preservation?
4) is further work necessary?
5) to whom should this be entrusted?

Check personally and answer me, please, without delay.

Chairman of the Council of People's Commissars
V. Ulyanov (Lenin)
