Despite the recognition of the priority importance of the Lena Goldfields and the exertion of all efforts by the central bodies to supply the area, given the brevity of navigation on the Lena, with everything necessary for productive work, the bodies entrusted to you are not displaying the proper energy and support in this matter. Reports are constantly coming in pointing to all manner of obstacles and difficulties. Thus, it is again reported that the Irkutsk Gubernia Executive Committee has given orders to throw overboard from the vessels the cargo of the Lena Goldfields, consisting of warm clothing and technical materials, and instead has given orders to load the detachment of Polonkin travelling to Yakutsk. The thrown-overboard cargo is in danger of freezing en route. We propose that you immediately take measures to advance the said cargo and to bring those guilty to account. Report fulfilment to 251.
