23/VIII. Lenin

I have received an English letter from Adolf S. Karma ("Dresden," Room No. 37), who bitterly complains that he was slandered by Heywood on account of factional enmity, who informed on him as a spy. The Commission—supposedly (of the Comintern) exonerated him, but he, although freed from prison, is not being released from Russia, they have confiscated his letters and so on and so forth.

Boris Reinstein knows him, it is said, and the Swede Chilbum (Kilbum), and the Finnish communist Allen Wallenius (Allan Wallenius), and many others.

He is supposedly a delegate from the Socialist Workers' Party of the United States.
