OF THE MOSCOW GUBERNIA COMMUNE

Copy to the Presidium of the Moscow Soviet of Deputies " the Commissariat of Enlightenment

Comrade Smolyaninov has informed me that a delegation of workers and peasants from Stavropol Gubernia has delivered to Moscow, in my name, one carload of provisions for starving workers as a gift. I request, first, that this carload be accepted as quickly as possible, without any red tape; second, that it be directed to the most needy Moscow workers with obligatory notification to them that this is a gift from the Stavropol workers and peasants; third, that measures be taken to look after the delegation both in terms of its accommodation and in conveying to it the gratitude of the Moscow Soviet of Deputies, and finally, to supply them with literature and provide them the opportunity to visit institutions in Moscow that interest them.

I request that I be informed immediately and precisely of the execution of this directive.
