V. I. Lenin knew P. N. Lepeshinsky also from Siberian exile in the
period 1898-1900.

There were two dispatches.
1. Lokatskov. — The line was not working until 6.
The dispatch was sent at 6 hrs. 16 m. — 18 hrs. 16 m. yesterday.
2. After four o'clock yesterday a telegram was also sent to Krasin.
I do not yet have the time of dispatch from the foreign point to London. It will be
reported this evening from the Narkomindel.

1 On June 25, 1921, at a meeting of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the RCP(b), a
resolution was adopted on the purchase of 30-50 million poods of grain on foreign
markets for 100 million gold rubles. A commission was approved
consisting of A. M. Lezhava, L. M. Khinchuk, P. L. Voikov and M. I. Frum-
kina, who were invited to take all measures for the urgent purchase
of grain, to organize control over the creation of an export fund to
cover this amount, and to report to the Politburo every two weeks on the progress
of the implementation of the resolution. Based on this resolution, they were
