On May 7 a telegram of the following content was sent to you from the Office of Affairs of the Council of Labor and Defense under No. 417: "Nizhny Novgorod, Economic Council. Telegraph whether the figure of 6,769,800 poods of peat for projected output in 1921, indicated in protocol No. 9, is correct."

On May 26 under No. 491 a reminder was sent to you.

In view of the fact that no answer has been received to either of these telegrams up to now, I propose that you immediately submit explanations of the cause of this delay and a substantive answer to the inquiry. I propose that the Cheka investigate the causes of the delay and punish those responsible, reporting their surnames and the positions they hold in the Office of Affairs of the Council of Labor and Defense 482.
