¹ Written on a telegram from G. V. Chicherin to Rome to V. V. Vorovsky
concerning the possibility of granting Rovitz and his group certain factories
for the manufacture of agricultural machines and equipment in Odessa,
Moscow, Ryazan, and Orel. It was proposed to inform beforehand about the
composition of the group and the specialties of the workers.

the National Economy.
² In his reply to V. I. Lenin on 10 May 1921, A. Lomov reported that
V. V. Vorovsky had telegraphically conveyed the proposal of a group of Italian
technicians, skilled workers (mainly in agricultural machines) headed by
Rovitz to come to work in Russia on condition of being provided with an
equipped workshop. To this proposal A. Lomov gave a positive answer,
coordinated with the Metal Department and the Chairman of the Supreme
Council of the National Economy P. A. Bogdanov.
