In response to V. I. Lenin's request for Varga's address, the secretary wrote on the reverse of the document
the room number in the hotel where Varga was staying.
E. S. Varga - economist, from 1906 was a member of the Hungarian Social
Democratic Party. In 1920 he emigrated to Soviet Russia,
where he joined the RCP(b). In 1927-1947 he headed the Institute
of World Economy and World Politics of the USSR Academy of Sciences. From 1939
- Full Member of the USSR Academy of Sciences.
M. I. Glyasser - party member since 1917. From 1917 to 1924 she worked
in the secretariat of the Council of People's Commissars.

sky to V. I. Lenin with a proposal to create a group of State Planning Commission employees
of the State Planning Commission at the Petrograd Regional Economic Conference. The main
nucleus of this group should be members of the State Planning Commission, residing
in Petrograd. The creation of this group should serve to link economic
issues between Moscow and Petrograd, as well as between Petro
grad Soviet and the Petrograd Soviet of National Economy.
Appoint A. A. Bachmanov - Head of the Production Department
under the Petrograd Sovnarkhoz as chairman of this group. See also the present collection,
pp. 80-81.
G. E. Zinoviev (Radomyslsky) - was a member of the party since 1901.
During the preparation and conduct of the October Socialist Revolution
lution he spoke out against armed uprising. After the October
Socialist Revolution he held a number of responsible posts. He has repeatedly
repeatedly opposed the Leninist policy of the party. In 1934, for
anti-party activities he was expelled from the ranks of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks).
