Repeatedly opposed Lenin's party policy. Expelled from the party for anti-party activity.

1 Written in reply to a memorandum from N. P. Gorbunov, manager of affairs of the Council of People's Commissars, regarding the time for receiving E. S. Varga, a worker of the Comintern. In response to Lenin's inquiry about Varga's address, the secretary wrote on the back of the document the number of the room in the hotel where Varga was staying.
E. S. Varga — economist, party member of the Hungarian Social Democratic Party since 1906. In 1920 emigrated to Soviet Russia, where he joined the RCP(b). In 1927–1947 headed the Institute of World Economy and World Politics of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. From 1939 — full member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR.
M. I. Glisser — party member since 1917. From 1917 to 1924 worked in the secretariat of the Council of People's Commissars.

1 Written on a letter from the chairman of Gosplan G. M. Krzhizhanovsky to Lenin with a proposal for creating a group of Gosplan workers at the Petrograd Regional Economic Conference. The core of this group should consist of members of Gosplan residing in Petrograd. The creation of this group should serve to coordinate economic matters between Moscow and Petrograd, as well as between the Petrograd Soviet and the Petrograd Council of the National Economy. A. A. Bachmanov — head of the Production Department of the Petrograd economic council — was to be appointed chairman of this group. See also this collection, pp. 80–81.
G. E. Zinoviev (Radomyslsky) — party member since 1901. During the period of preparation and carrying out the October Socialist Revolution opposed armed insurrection. After the October Socialist Revolution held a number of responsible posts. Repeatedly opposed Lenin's party policy. In 1934 was expelled from the VKP(b) for anti-party activity.
