CORRESPONDENCE WITH V. A. AVANESOV 1

[1921, February 15]

*

1) Lomov was supposed to send it — he was entrusted with the final
editing.

2) The Commission dispatched by me to the Nikolaevskaya railroad
established for the year 16,600 cubic meters of wood, but according
to information from the Petrograd OKP as of 9/11 there were up to
2,000 cubic meters.

And the daily requirement of this railroad?

I don't recall right now, but approximately 1,000 cubic meters.

Impossible.

1 The correspondence took place at the session of the SNK on February 15, 1921,
where fuel questions and questions of the work of the forestry commission were being
decided. In the note Lenin twice underlined the figure 1,000 cubic meters.

V. A. Avanesov — party member since 1903. In 1917–1919 — secretary and member
