LETTER TO THE REVOLUTIONARY MILITARY COUNCIL OF THE REPUBLIC
February 12, 1921
Unprecedented and unbelievable things are happening with our communications.
Stalin and I, on the most important matters, cannot connect
with Ordzhonikidze, Fomin—with a member of the Revolutionary Military Council of the Caucasian Front.
Send, with reference to me directly, an urgent telegram
to Rostov-on-Don, let them immediately appoint a responsible
person who is obligated to maintain communication with both
and give their answers (give constantly) to me, Stalin, Fomin
(from both).
If this does not happen, I will bring to trial (or will seek the dismissal and arrest) of the responsible persons here. This is
intolerable.
Lenin
PS. This is already a complete disintegration of the leadership in the army!
No
communication (\ \ ) with such officials as
Ordzhonikidze!!
