Have you received Semashko’s order?
I earnestly request that you exert every possible effort and report to me weekly on the actual results—on what has been accomplished*.

The People’s Commissariat of Health entrusted V. D. Bonch-Bruyevich with the task of establishing a committee responsible for constructing sanitary checkpoints at Moscow’s railway stations, designed to receive the echelons carrying demobilized units of the Red Army.
In response to this note, V. D. Bonch-Bruyevich informed V. I. Lenin:
tl) On Friday, a commission will convene at the People’s Commissariat of Health (an organizational meeting).
2) The technical staff—crucially important—has been assembled. 3) A portion of the necessary materials has been secured. 4) The construction plans have been drafted and will be approved on Friday. 5) Work will commence on Saturday.

Find out under whose jurisdiction these checkpoints fall: the Moscow Soviet? Which People’s Commissariat is responsible? Then verify this information through formal inquiries—both with the Moscow Soviet and with the relevant People’s Commissariat*.
