I have the honor most humbly to ask the food commissariat officials and Tsentro-
Soyuz members to write an answer to the following questions:
1. Approximately what percentage of grain is procured
by cooperatives without cooperatives, by bodies of the People's Commissariat for Food — (Lezhava)

NOTES ON A.I. SVIDERSKY'S NOTE.
90 million poods of grain were procured from August 1919 to January 1.
27 million poods were collected at cooperative collection points of various types.
(This is included in the 90 million poods)
There are 868 collection points at the disposal of the food bodies.
The entire cooperation has 770 collection points working for the People's Commissariat for Food.
The capacity of our points is 90 million poods, the capacity of cooperative
points is 27 million poods.

A.M. Lezhava wrote his answer on Lenin's note, placing a number of figures under the corresponding questions from Lenin. To Lenin's 1st question, Lezhava answered: "up to 40%". The phrase taken by Lenin in a box means that O.Yu. Schmidt, a member of the collegium of the People's Commissariat for Food, confirmed Lezhava's answer. To Lenin's question: "without cooperatives, by bodies of the People's Commissariat for Food," Lezhava answere
