Comrade Zinoviev!
I am sending the preface to "Imperialism."
Please arrange to reprint the Basel Manifesto of 1912 as an appendix. (It is not difficult to find the German text: you have Greenberg's "archive," etc.)
I have received your theses on Soviets and the conditions for their creation, but have only managed to glance through them. I do not object.
Regards Lenin

What about my speeches and reports at the congress? 1 Should I prepare them in German or French? I think the introductory (and others) should be in Russian (for, almost certainly, they will be in theaters with a Russian audience). They will translate. And, since there are theses, speak, referring to them, very briefly. Your opinion? (Agrarian by Marchlewski; national and introductory by me, only?)
