The awarding of prizes to individual householders should be, first, placed in the second rank as compared with the awarding of prizes to entire societies and collectives in general; second, prizes and rewards to individual householders should be given only under the strictest observance of the condition that individual farms have achieved economic success without the slightest application of kulak methods; third, individual householders should be awarded prizes in the form of marks of distinction, articles of personal consumption, household items, etc.; as for means of production, it is permissible to award them to individual householders only under the absolute condition that only such means of production should be awarded as prizes and only on such terms that these means of production could not be utilized as an instrument for transforming the master into a kulak{93}.
