After the October revolution - professor of the Petrograd

Institutes, manager of the laboratory department of the Main Oil
Committee of the Supreme Economic Council. He participated in a conspiracy against the Soviet
government in 1921. He was shot by a decree of the Petrograd Cheka
dated August 24, 1921 (see also V. I. Lenin. Complete Works,
volume 53, p. 169).
