TELEGRAM TO THE REVOLUTIONARY MILITARY COUNCIL OF THE 1st CAVALRY ARMY

R.M.C., 1st Cavalry Army
Copy to the Southern Front
Copy to L. B. Kamenev

Wrangel is obviously withdrawing his forces. Possibly he is already trying to take refuge in the Crimea. To let
him give you the slip would be the greatest crime. The success of the impending blow depends to a considerable
degree on the 1st Cavalry Army. We request the R.M.C.
of the 1st Cavalry Army to adopt the most heroic measures
to accelerate the concentration of this Army.
