NOTE TO THE EDITORIAL OFFICE OF ZHURNAL
“COMMUNIST INTERNATIONAL”
[October 21, 1920]
To the Editorial Office of the Communist International in Petrograd
Yesterday I dispatched
1) Manuscript 1
2) Two books for reprinting 2
The total comprises the entire text of my article.
Please receive it, verify it immediately, and proceed with typesetting (return everything to me).
1 We are referring to the article “On the History of the Question of Dictatorship,” which was sent by Lenin to Petrograd for typesetting at the editorial office of the journal “Communist International” (see this collection, the preceding document, and the Complete Collected Works, Volume 41, pp. 369–391). Lenin undertook the proofreading of the article; in the galley proofs sent to him from Petrograd, he made a number of corrections.
2 These refer to the first volume of the collected works “Over Twelve Years” and the pamphlet “The Victory of the Cadets and the Tasks of the Workers’ Party.”
