Comrade Shlichter!

I have a request for you: Nadezhda Konstantinovna has acquaintances in Tambov whom she knows — an old woman Azanchevskaya and her daughter: Elizaveta Nikolaevna and Anna Vasilyevna Azanchevskies.

Address: Tambov, Nikolaevskaya Hotel, room, I believe, No. 1.

She very much requests that measures be taken to ensure they are provided for quite well in terms of provisions. The old woman has fully deserved this.

Be so good as to drop me a line about what you have done, and whether you have taken measures so that they are not forgotten without you (upon your departure, etc.).

How are things in Tambov Province?

Hunger?

Unable to feed [the population]? (by local means).

What are you undertaking?

Warmest greetings! Your Lenin

Sent to Tambov
