Comrades! Tsarist General Wrangel is intensifying the offensive against Ukraine and Russia. Supported by the French capitalists, he is advancing, threatening the Donets Basin and Yekaterinoslav. The danger is great. Once again the landlords are trying to restore their power, trying to regain their lands and again enslave the peasants!

Comrades! The Ukrainian countryside endured unheard-of suffering from the yoke of the landlords. More than once they succeeded in overthrowing the Soviet, worker-peasant power; more than once they were helped by rich peasants, the kulaks, who helped both by going directly over to their side and by hindering the propertyless, toiling peasants from building a new order, a new life, a new organization of the countryside. And each time the attempts to restore landlord power ended in a new victory of the workers and peasants.

Now, throughout Ukraine, the poor peasants have undertaken the organization of their committees in order to finally overcome the resistance of the few rich, to finally secure the power of the working people. Landlord General Wrangel is intensifying the onslaught in order to break these organizations of the working people.

Comrades! Let each and every one stand up with all their might to defend against Wrangel! Let all the committees of poor peasants strain every effort to help the Red Army finish off Wrangel. Let not a single toiling peasant remain aloof from the worker-peasant cause, remain inactive or indifferent.

Comrades! Remember that the matter concerns the salvation of your families, the defense of the peasant land and power. All to the aid of the Red Army! Death to the landlord-oppressors!
