Given the conditions of the military situation, the present moment demands particularly intense and unfailing work by the railways for military transport. Although the work of the railways in this respect is currently proceeding well, it is nevertheless necessary to exert even greater efforts, since the success of the common cause now depends especially on the work of the railways. Flexibility and precision in the routing of operational transports are particularly essential, where any delays or misroutings are absolutely impermissible.
