Delay the Sovietization of Armenia.

Note by N.N. Krestinsky

We have already delayed the Sovietization of Armenia, we should also delay the Sovietization of Georgia.

Frumkin is right - he has become a "buffer".

N. Krestinsky.

1The notes are written on a telegram from M.I.Frumkin to N.N.Krestinsky dated August 5, 1920: "Addendum. Telegram from the Kavburo about establishing communication with Kemal Pasha, through Georgia; I consider it my duty to point out that under the present conditions the resolution of the Kavburo is not feasible and harmful. The main task of the present moment is to liquidate Wrangel and the Kuban Troubles as a continuation of the Wrangel front. Any task deviating from this task is disastrous. We risk upsetting the economic front in the North Caucasus, which must work without interruptions (pass). My point of view is in full agreement with the Revolutionary Military Council of the front. Please inform Lenin. Member of the Sovtrudarm Frumkin".

Soviet power in Armenia was proclaimed in late November 1920, in Georgia - in March 1921.
