TO THE WATER MANAGEMENT OF THE SORMOVO PLANT

Knowing the workload of the Sormovo plant with military orders, the Presidium of the Supreme Council of National Economy and the Chairman of the Council of Labor and Defense nevertheless
propose that you accept for execution, the order of Glavtorf from
February 17 for a caterpillar peat crane, according to the developed
drawings, and execute it in the shortest possible time. Report acceptance of this to execution by telegraph with a copy to
Glav torf.

* In its telegram, the Revolutionary Military Council of the Caucasian Front raised
the question of releasing captured Cossacks - privates and non-commissioned officers of the Kuban Army - from prisoner-of-war camps and sending them home:
officers were to be sent to the staff of the front.

FROM THE DECREES OF THE COUNCIL OF LABOR AND DEFENSE
MAY 28, 1920
ON THE REPORT OF THE NARKOMPROS
a) To instruct the State Publishing House to submit
to the Council of Labor and Defense reports on measures to reduce
publishing in general in favor of publications necessary for the Western
Front.
b) To draw the attention of the Narkompros to strengthening control
over the rapid and accurate implementation of its decisions on assistance
to the Western Front.
c) To propose to the Narkompros to provide all possible assistance
to the military department in terms of the application of volunteerism
and to take all measures dependent on it in this regard.
ON INTENSIFYING THE PRODUCTION OF MINE
OBSTRUCTION
a) To propose to the Revolutionary Military Council of the Republic to detach
from the Caucasian Front and Navy and from the V Army 300 qualified
workers for assignment to factories for the production of mines.
The Promvoensovet [Council of Industry and War] should submit to the Revolutionary Military Council of the
Republic a list of unskilled workers by name at the factories
for the production of mines located on the Western and Southwestern
Fronts.
The Revolutionary Military Council must carry out the detachment of the latter
in cases where this does not cause particular damage to
the front.
The report of the Revolutionary Military Council is to be scheduled in 3 weeks.
b) To oblige the Petrograd Sovnarkhoz and Komtrud to transfer
to factories fulfilling orders for mines, workers from factories
not working for defense or fulfilling orders that may be temporarily delayed.
