TELEGRAM TO A. M. GORKY
PETROGRAD
March 19, 1920

In response to your letter of March 5, I am sending a copy of the telegram from the People's Commissariat of Food to Badayev: "It is proposed to you henceforward until the final resolution of the question of improving the situation of scholars by a special commission of the Council of People's Commissars to continue supply according to the plan previously accepted by you, that is, without reducing, in accordance with the latest order of the People's Commissariat of Food."

The Pokrovsky commission protests the Petrograd list as unjust.

Sapozhnikov was released on March 9.

Manukhin must present to the People's Commissariat of Health Semashko a description of the method of the proposed investigations, on whose examination results depends the decision.
