LETTER TO MEMBERS OF THE COLLEGIUM OF THE PEOPLE'S COMMISSARIAT FOR FOOD
February 27, 1920

Comrade Vinogradov, chairman of the executive committee of the Vesyegonsk teachers' union, submitted the attached petition.

The point is—to instruct the Vesyegonsk Uprodkom to issue teachers (about 500 in the uyezd) an increased ration of bread and potatoes plus shoes or leather.

Both from local reserves: there are surpluses in the uyezd.

I ask you today to make the necessary inquiries (the comrade must leave tomorrow) and answer me by telephone (we will decide in the evening in the Council of Defense).
