ON THE PROCUREMENT OF GRAIN BY COOPERATIVES AND BODIES OF
THE NARCOMPROD.
JANUARY 26, 1920.

a.
NOTE TO MEMBERS
OF THE COLLEGIUM OF THE NARCOMPROD AND TSENTRO
SOYUZ.
I have the honor most humbly to ask the food commissars and Tsentro-
Soyuz members to write an answer to the following questions:
1. How much grain (in % approximately) is procured
by cooperatives without cooperatives, by bodies of the NKProd - (Lezhava)
| Schmidt: same as Lezhava | 1
2. other products besides grain
Cooperatives with the participation of cooperatives without the participation of cooperatives, by bodies of the NKProd
£

NOTES BY A. I. SVIDERSKY ON THE NOTE.
90 million poods of grain have been procured from August 1919 to January 1.
27 million poods have been collected at the collection points of various types of cooperatives.
(This and 3 90 m. p.)
The food bodies have 868 collection points.
The entire cooperative system has 770 collection points working for the Komprod.
The capacity of our points is 90 million poods, the capacity of cooperative
points is 27 million poods.
Svidersky wrote this on January 26, 1920.

A. M. Lezhava wrote his answer on Lenin's note, placing a number of figures under
the corresponding questions of Lenin. To Lenin's first question,
Lezhava answered: "up to 40°/0". The phrase, taken by Lenin in a frame, means
that O. Yu. Schmidt, a member of the Collegium of the Narcomprod, confirmed Lezhava's answer.
To Lenin's question: "without cooperatives, by bodies of the NKProd," Lezhava answ
ered: "60°/0", placing the figures "20, 60, 20" on the remaining questions of Lenin.
