# TELEGRAM TO THE REVOLUTIONARY MILITARY COUNCIL

OF THE 1ST LABOUR ARMY

In response to Yermakov’s telegram No. 25 concerning the existence of an enormous number of all
sorts of commissions, organisations and individual plenipotentiaries engaged in organising the procurement of fuel – there are twelve military commissions alone,
plus the newly created ones according to the order of the Revolutionary Military Council of the Republic: the Yekaterinburg Military District one, the front one in Ufa, etc. – the Council of Defence has resolved:
to instruct the Revolutionary Military Council of the Labour Army to resolve the questions raised in the telegram in the spirit of re-
storing the greatest unity and coordination of work on the procurement, sawing, hauling and floating of firewood, while preserving the leading role of the gubernia forest committee and the railway forest committee** 129.
