NOTE ON A TELEGRAM FROM PETROGRAD
January 14, 1920
Moscow, to Lenin
Copy to the Main Water Administration
To the Main Water Administration: Ede—
In the Mariinskaya Region, there is a complete absence of reserves of coal, coke, and food—primarily bread—for the repair of the fleet and hydraulic engineering structures, as well as for the construction of the “Poleza” lock. It is imperative to urgently supply the region with food, since the lack thereof threatens to delay the repair of the fleet and hydraulic engineering works of strategic importance. Such delays may in turn lead to a postponement of the opening of navigation.
To the Central Committee of the RCP(b)
Has this matter been resolved? And if so, how has it been resolved?
