2) People's Commissariat of Transport and convey to them by telephone that today in the Council of Defence (2/1 1920) we shall raise the question of military accountability: let them prepare.

In a telephone message addressed to Lenin, V. N. Yakovleva, a member of the collegium of the People's Commissariat of Food, reported on the number of food supply routes loaded for Moscow from various points and on the failure of the People's Commissariat of Transport to fulfil orders for the provision of wagons. The directive to the secretary was written by Lenin beneath the text of Yakovleva's telephone message.
