Kolchak and Denikin are the principal and only seriously dangerous enemies of the Soviet republic. Without assistance from the Entente (England, France, America), they would have collapsed long ago. Only the assistance of the Entente makes them a force. But they are still compelled to deceive the people, occasionally posing as supporters of "democracy," the "Constituent Assembly," "popular sovereignty," and the like. The Mensheviks and Socialist Revolutionaries are happy to be deceived.

Now the truth about Kolchak (and Denikin is his twin) has been completely exposed. Shootings of tens of thousands of workers. Shootings even of Mensheviks and Socialist Revolutionaries. Floggings of entire peasant districts. Public flogging of women. Complete license for the power of officers, landowners' sons. Looting without end. Such is the truth about Kolchak and Denikin. Even among the Mensheviks and Socialist Revolutionaries, who themselves were traitors to the workers and sided with Kolchak and Denikin, more and more people are to be found who are forced to acknowledge this truth.

It is necessary to make public awareness of this the cornerstone of all agitation and propaganda. It must be explained that it is either Kolchak and Denikin, or Soviet power—the power (dictatorship) of the workers; there is no middle ground; there can be no middle ground. It is particularly necessary to use the testimony of non-Bolsheviks: Mensheviks, Socialist Revolutionaries, non-party people who have been to Kolchak's or Denikin's side. Let every worker and peasant know what the struggle is for, what awaits him in the event of Kolchak's or Denikin's victory.
