ON FOODSTUFFS CARGOES SHIPPED OUT OF LATVIA
(RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF DEFENSE, ADOPTED ON THE REPORT
OF I. V. STALIN OF APRIL 14, 1919)

All foodstuffs cargoes shipped out of Latvia shall be subject to no delays whatsoever.

Those belonging to the Latvian Komprod shall be immediately directed according to the instructions of the Latvian Komprod. Military foodstuffs cargoes are to be managed by the Supply Council of the Latvian Army.

The Government of Latvia is obligated to promptly free up the railway cars and return them to the disposal of the Narkomput.*

ON THE EXTENSION OF THE WORKING DAY IN THE MILITARY
PROCUREMENT DEPARTMENT

To call to the attention of the People's Commissar of Labor and the representative of the trade unions the impropriety of their protest concerning the extension of the working day in the Military Procurement Department during the acute period of wartime.

ON THE ALLOCATION OF MILITARY MATERIALS TO TURKESTAN

Instruct the Revolutionary Military Council of the Republic to satisfy, insofar as possible, the demands of the Turkestan military organizations, such that they receive them immediately and without redirection.

Information has been received that in Odessa significant reserves of lubricating oils, gasoline, kerosene, and other materials necessary for the railroads have been seized. Request that you contact the commissar of the Odessa district Lyubarsky, Odessa, Nikolaevsky Boulevard, 21, concerning the immediate provision of these materials to the railroads and the Sovnarkhoz.
