On June 21 the All-Russian Extraordinary Commission arrested the representative at the Commissariat of Food from the Petrograd Commissariat of Food Supply and from the head of food supply of the Petrograd Military District, comrade Vinogradov. In view of the extraordinary importance of the functions performed by Vinogradov, there is a necessity either for his speedy release or his replacement by another person, wherefore we, as official representatives of Petrograd Food Commissariat and the Petrograd Military District, turn to you with a request both for the acceleration of consideration of Vinogradov's case and for immediate acquaintance with the investigation, the materials, and the status of the question on this case.

Regarding the above we turn to you with an insistent request, and comrade Badayev, on whose behalf we are authorized to make this statement. Regarding what follows, we request not to refuse to inform us by telephone at tel. 2-60-42 or 5-75-73.
